In Tennis, two Wimbledon titles will be decided today as the men’s singles and women’s doubles finals are played. World No. 1 Jannik Sinner will face Germany’s Alexander Zverev in the men’s singles final at 8:30 p.m. IST.
Sinner booked his place in the title clash with a straight-sets victory over Novak Djokovic, while Zverev entered his first Wimbledon final after defeating British wildcard Arthur Fery.
The women’s doubles final will begin at 5:30 p.m. IST. The 10th-seeded pair of China’s Guo Hanyu and France’s Kristina Mladenovic will take on the second-seeded duo of Canada’s Gabriela Dabrowski and Brazil’s Luisa Stefani.
Yesterday, in the Women’s Singles Final, the 21-year-old Linda Noskova won her maiden Grand Slam title after defeating fellow Czech Karolina Muchova 6-2, 5-7, 6-3 at Centre Court, London.
Noskova became the third Czech woman in four years to win the grass-court major, after Marketa Vondrousova in 2023 and Barbora Krejcikova in 2024.
