Clean energy meets over 50 % of country’s electricity demand for second time: Union Minister Pralhad Joshi

 

New and Renewable Energy Minister Pralhad Joshi today said that clean energy met over 50 percent of the country’s electricity demand for the second time. In a social media post, Mr Joshi said that renewable sources contributed 50.2 percent of the power supply on the 6th of this month. The Minister called this a testament to the growing strength and reliability of India’s Clean Energy ecosystem. He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India continues to power sustainable growth with speed and determination.
